New Choices / New Options is a free career-development, job training and personal growth program for single parents and displaced homemakers who must return to work because of divorce, separation, spouse's death or low income. The six-week program offers a 20-hour introductory computer class, confidence building skills, career exploration and planning, and individual job placement assistance. The goal is to promote economic self-sufficiency with an emphasis on high wage/high skilled careers. Day and evening sessions are offered in the fall and spring semesters at both the Central (Blue Bell) and West (Pottstown) campuses.

The Meals on Wheels program for the Indian Valley is coordinated and delivered utilizing a large number of volunteers. Transportation to and from the center is provided through Transnet at minimal cost. A separate full-service facility, the Adult Day Services Center is adjacent to SAAC of IV and is administrated by the North Penn Visiting Nurse Association. It has a range of health, rehabilitation and social services for those elderly or handicapped persons who may need daytime care or supervision.

The services offered are emergency food, home visitations, referrals to other agencies, and assistance with entitlements by the centers social worker. Member benefits include free medical screenings, on-site Nurse, free legal advice, tax preparation, daily catered lunch, free and low cost activities. Among the activities offered are educational programs, computer classes, massage therapy, lectures and seminars, day and overnight trips, dancing, a pinochle group, billiards, exercise classes, and arts and crafts.
