Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program (TBRA)
  
The Department of Housing & Community Development assists Montgomery County residents who are victims of disaster or displaced by emergency circumstances with rental assistance. These applicants must meet the 60% or below income guidelines. The assistance can be provided for a maximum of 2 years and will be determined based on priority and funding availability. Recipients of the Housing Choice Voucher Program are not eligible for this assistance however, persons/families on the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list may qualify.
